Tomboy Survival Guide

Friday, March 10 at 7:30PM PST
Centre Stage at Surrey City Hall
13450 104 Ave, Surrey, B.C.

“Part anthem, part campfire story, Tomboy Survival Guide is a collaboration of writer and truth-teller Ivan Coyote and an all-tomboy band—Alison Gorman (trumpet), Pebbles Willekes (bass guitar), and Sally Zori (drums). Blending story with music—and defying gender boxes—these fast friends and fellow creators invite you to join them as they navigate the narrow halls of public washrooms, skirt the threat of being picked to be a flower girl at their aunt’s wedding, triumph over tying a double Windsor knot, and discover the power and beauty in realizing they were handsome all along.

AUDIENCE ADVISORY: Strong language and mature themes”
